LA CUMA (2020)

Client: Comune di Monte Rinaldo - Tu.Ris.Marche

The archeological area, managed by the Soprintendenza Archeologia, Belle Arti e Paesaggio delle marche preserves the remains of a religious site of the Roman period. The sanctuary was discovered and reconstructed in his current form in the last years of the 19th century.

Currently new excavations are underway led by archaelogists from the university of Bologna in collaboration with the Brithish School at Rome. The archeological site also includes a summer theatre association and a Youth Workshop for educational activities called “Cuma activity”.

During this project I had the chance to design the coordinate communication of this archeological site. The main logo, which take its cue from the columns found, wants to summarize in its three forms the main elements of each activity. The grooves in the stone become actors: the actors, in turn, become paths. “La Cuma” is a place in continuous transformation and we just have to explore it.
